- Is the President's personal lawyerActually: Represents the United States, not the President as an individual. The President hires private lawyers for personal matters.
- Handles state crimesActually: Murder, theft, assault, and most everyday crimes are prosecuted by state and local DAs. The AG only handles federal crimes.
- Runs the federal courtsActually: Federal courts are a separate branch of government. The AG prosecutes cases in them but has no authority over judges.
