    Text

For 250 glorious years, the rule of law and the blessings of freedom have stood as the bedrock of our Republic and the fount of our greatness. On Loyalty and Law Day, we reaffirm our solemn commitment to defending our unalienable rights and preserving our freedoms.

Since our founding on July 4, 1776, the righteous principles of equal justice, law and order, and the dignity of every human person have been faithfully defended by generations of patriots. In fact, from the very beginning of our national story, responsible citizenship has meant obeying our laws, defending our flag, honoring our heritage, protecting our homeland, and safeguarding our constitutional way of life. These foundational truths—and our steadfast commitment to them—have made our Nation the greatest beacon of freedom and liberty the world has ever known. From the Revolutionaries who fought to secure our independence to the brave Americans who stood firm against communist threats during the Cold War, our history is defined by a citizenry with an unyielding devotion to God, an abiding loyalty to the Constitution, and a deep love of country.

My Administration is proudly carrying forth this enduring legacy as we restore our justice system, uphold law and order, and eliminate threats to our freedom. Since I returned to office, we have ended the era of lawlessness and the weaponization of our justice system and reclaimed our constitutional heritage. America’s borders are secure. Our cities are reemerging safe, vibrant, and beautiful. And our precious liberties are once again being safeguarded.

Under my leadership, we are in the new Golden Age of America—one that remains firmly rooted in respect for our laws, reverence for our Constitution, and an unwavering commitment to the eternal truths that have guided our Nation for two and a half centuries.

Today, we celebrate the revolutionary framework of governance enshrined in our Constitution, and we pledge to defend it with unshakeable courage and devotion. As we commemorate 250 years of American independence, we renew our resolve to secure a future where the rule of law prevails, liberty endures, and the forces of tyranny and evil remain forever defeated.
